
Born and raised in Zaragoza, Spain, Sergio began his love for food and cooking in his Grandfather’s kitchen—learning the traditional cuisine of the Aragon region. At the age of 18, he went off to expand his repertoire of Spanish cuisine by working in the traditional kitchens of Madrid, Barcelona and San Sebastian—working at some of the most prestigious restaurants in the world such as ARZAK, MUGARITZ, and the iconic elBulli restaurant in Roses, Spain.
All this knowledge has allowed him to not only cook with with the upmost freedom and technicality, but it has allowed him to consult with other restaurants to help them achieve great success. He has used his artistic experience to help create beautiful and inspirational images for food books, magazines and even film.
